How depressing!

Ha ha! Listen to what my fortune cookie said:

"Your One True Love will knock on your door in precisely 2 months, 8 days, and 14 hours; unfortunately, you will be out."

Isn't it lovely to know that God, not luck, is in control!

(still, it's pretty funny!) :)

that's seriously what it said? Who writes these things? That's hilarious.

I don't know who writes them, but it must be an interesting job!!

I wonder whether one person alone writes them, or whether they all sit around a big table cracking up at each other's ideas.... That would be an interesting article for you to write someday, Shanna. Something about the origins of the mysterious fortunes in the cookies.

So, did you mark the day on your calendar? So when you miss the guy you'll be able to look back and say, "I'm glad I wasn't home. He was only a freshman." (Just kidding.)

AMEN!!

We ate Chinese food yesterday and my fortune was really dumb---plus it had a typo! LOL

Watch(wo)man - No, I didn't mark it down. I think I'd rather not know! ;-D

Mrs. B - I know; they usually are really dumb. I usually get something really generic like, "Sometimes you have good days, but sometimes you have bad days." Wow, how profound.

But I do like to eat the cookies! :) (I hear they're fat free, which is always a plus.)

That would be an interesting article. I wonder if fortune cookie companies would be willing to give up their secrets though! :)

They probably wouldn't, but you never know. I still think it would be a fun article to read.

I bet that Martha Brockenbrough

would have a neat way of approaching that topic. She always has something fun to say.

How funny! I'm glad I have the Lord to encourage me! We always get a laugh out of the cookies though when we eat Chinese out.
